Extended Family Session in Norman, OK

It may be feel like a rather bit of a hassle but getting an extended photo shoot done is a great way to hold many precious memories close. An extended family shoot doesn’t have to be stuffy, it doesn’t have to be super formal. It’s about getting photos to remember the gift and beauty each of these people are in your life.
My grandmother passed away in Feb 2020…the one that taught me how to make an apple pie, who took me to piano lessons week after week, let me make many baking fails in her kitchen. She’s the one who taught me what it is like to live with laughter and joy. To love people just as they are and welcome them wide open. And how much I wish we had more photos together.
It’s part of that grief that has filled me with a desire to do extended family photos. To do grandparent/grandchild sessions. To have those precious memories stored up our treasure chest, not to just sit there but to be held.
Extended Family Sessions can be so flexible – they can be a bit more formal or they can be your family exploring a local park or if your family loves a cooking together get photos of a family meal!
