When do I schedule my newborn session?
If you are wanting a newborn photo session with me, reach out! I never want a mama to feel pressure to have to immediately do a newborn session so I take a limited amount of newborns each month allowing me flexibility to serve you! Once you book with me I pencil in your due date and hold down your spot for the month. I do newborn sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and a few open Saturdays a month, once baby is here I ask you to get in contact with me asap and I’ll send you my open dates for the next few weeks and we’ll schedule it from there. How Much Does a Photo Session Cost?
You can view my session pricing details on my rates page here. My rates include a pre-session consult, styling guides, your session time, professionally edited photos, and access to your full resolution digital photos in an online gallery.
Is My Home Nice Enough for an In-Home Session?
My focus in on your people not your home! If there’s space near a window then we can make it work. Often we use just a small part of a home anyway so you as long as we can move around and work in one area then you do not need to worry. I’m looking to tell the stories of families not feature for a magazine. I bring simple flash to use if needed.
What Should I Wear?

When Is the Best Time for Newborn Photos?
Mid-morning to early afternoon is when most babies are at their happiest. It’s also when I find homes to have the best light so that is when I schedule my newborn sessions.
Do I Get Digital Files from My Session?
Yes! All my session packages include full resolution digital files from your session. You will receive these in an online gallery and be able to download them for your own use. I will give you a print release document as well as provide recommendations for the best places to get your photos printed.
What If My Kids Don’t Behave?
You mean what if they don’t sit still and look at the camera? Then do not worry – my sessions are about laughter, movement and snuggles. I love interacting with children and work my hardest to make the session fun and relaxed to bring out the best in your little one.
Will You Help Me Order My Prints?
Yes! Ordering prints makes me so happy! I have a direct print store through my gallery but I also offer some special packages where I take care of all the details for you. 🙂
Can my photos stay private?
Yes! I always seek to honor and respect my clients wishes for this. You have the option to not have photos shared, choose which ones are shared or allow any to be shared. I do no put exact locations unless it’s a public location or share client names.
