I’m not sure there really is anything as precious as getting to celebrate a family by photographing them with their new baby. As an metro OKC newborn photographer, I love the relaxed, comfortable feel that sessions at home give for a new baby photo session.

And of course this relaxed feeling helps any new siblings in the family so much! They can stay in their environment, play with their toys and let life flow around them. And because at home sessions are a story the session can move around them at their pace.

A toddler is feeling all the feels in these new situations and I find both parents and toddler are so much better when we stay in an environment that is comfortable to the new big siblings.

Another fun thing about these lifestyle new baby photo sessions is that we can incorporate things that mean a lot to the family! Playing music together, singing and doing the daily things like making coffee. At home sessions mean you can eat and play and drink any way you want too!

At home newborn sessions tell so much more than just photos of the baby – they tell a story.

It was a dreary rainy day for this newborn session but we stayed quite cozy inside despite the dampness outdoors. A talkative big brother, precious new baby and parents in love with each other and their baby were the perfect combo!
