Just an encouragement to shop small businesses for the 2019 holidays today. In the rush, bustle and noise we can find ourselves being last minute in getting gifts. Then we can find ourselves running to the department store rather than gifting with meaning and purpose.
Today I’m going to share a few of my favorite small business for you to consider when getting gifts for your family and friends for this 2019 holiday season.
ShariLynn Art – beautiful handmade nativity ornaments, children’s nativity sets (including make your own) and more. I grew up watching my Mom makes these year after year to give to friends (She always added one to the tray of treats we took to the dentist and they had to draw names each year because they all wanted one!). This is a special piece from my childhood that I know will be cherished in your family home. My mom also does custom pencil drawings that make great gifts!
My family & newborn photography sessions would make a great gift as well. 🙂 If you have a friend or family member expecting consider this gift as a way to provide timeless and lasting memories for them.
Small Business to Support
Joyfully Stitched – beautiful, handmade bonnets and bows. I have several bows for my daughter and love the beauty and quality of them.
Sew Sweet Clothing – handmade clothing for most of the members of your family!
Happy Mug Coffee – organic, ethically sourced coffee (this is where we get our green beans to roast!) and teas. Their tea blends are amazing!
Jo’s Custom Cosmetics – custom made skin care and make up with all natural ingredients. My favorite so far as been her lip balms. It’s beautiful, stays put and I love knowing what I’m putting on my skin!
Deck & Oar – beautiful clothing and gifts that celebrate motherhood. In the above photo I’m wearing their “Joy Seeker” shirt. So soft!
Bright Hope Candle Company – handmade soy candles, I don’t have any yet but have friends that do and I can’t wait to get some soon.
Sakura Bloom – my absolute favorite baby carriers. Can’t sing the praises of these enough!
I hope you enjoyed seeing a few of the different small business I love to support and I would love hear what some of your favorite shops are! Don’t forget to support your local and small business as you shop for family and friends in the 2019 holiday season!
